About Funnel:
I'm a freelance web designer who lives in Grasonville, MD. My primary goal as a web designer is to create a website that best displays your content.
In high school, I was given Funnel as a nickname. Since then, it has almost become a life-philosophy: I see the big picture, and I reduce it to smaller, understandable pieces. Fees:
My standard fees are $40 an hour or $400 minimum for new website design and adding provided content. I have experience designing websites with standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and PHP; image editing with GIMP; and search engine optimization.
Many web designers charge more than I do. My fees are kept low for three reasons: first, to make professional website design affordable to those who might otherwise be unable to afford a professional website; second, lack of formal computer science or design education (I have a Bachelor of Arts, but I'm a self-taught web-designer); and third, the choice I've made to design by hand (meaning I don't use programs to generate websites; this slows me down, but gives me complete control).
Ultimately, I charge what I do because I think it's fair. As a final note, if you are an NPO or a church in need of a website, my fees are completely negotiable. You can pay me however much or little that you can.
I do this because I love it.
