If you're interested in teaching yourself HTML, CSS, or php, there are already dozens of excellent websites that can do that (some of which are listed here). These articles are my attempt at sharing what I've learned about web design in a very general way.
The first article, Understanding Basic CSS in 6 Steps, was written for anyone who is curious about how CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) works, whether you're already familiar with HTML or are just curious to see what CSS actually looks like. This article is not intended as a tutorial, but rather as an explanation about what steps you would need to take to be able to understand and use basic CSS.
